LtCol J.C. Rose became a professional truck driver after 30 years in the Marine Corps. He continues his mission by training fellow veterans to become drivers.
After the Marines, J.C. wanted to ensure a legacy for his children. He started the best way he knew how: with his boots on the ground.
As a mini fleet owner, he provides an essential service to our nation and employs other veterans. J.C. teaches veteran drivers as they move from military to civilian life, encouraging them to become a part of something bigger once more.
J.C. comes from a long line of military service members. Today, his family’s military legacy lives on as three of his four children currently serve.
J.C. did not advance to the eighth grade. At age 13, he completed a postcard for the Marines and mailed it in. They turned him down because of his age, but that act lit a fire in him. From that day on, J.C. knew he would be a Marine.
Every day, he helps others walk through that door.
